The colors in this print are really exquisite!  It’s said that the best photography features at most a few colors, and this one definitely follows that guide, from the subtle blues of the sky to the vibrant blue of the car and then just a pop of red in those great taillights.  And of course, what 1950s car would be complete without some chrome?  There’s also something fun about the reflections  in the fenders that completes this.  A great capture of a classic 1956 Chevrolet for sure!

A really eye catching print featuring a classic American car.  This appears based on the tail lights and fins to be roughly a 1964 Mercury.  The chrome and colors are really well captured by the photographer.  It literally feels as if you could reach in and touch this classic car.  And of course, the chrome is expansive, like only a mid century American car could be!  Fantastic!

A lovely collection of classic old cars in a car lot, Classical Gas, that used to exist in Eaton, Colorado.  It must have been an incredible place to even window shop as this photo really feels as if it were from decades ago with the rows of classic American cars with their mammoth curved fenders and chrome accents.  Definitely an image that will excite the classic car fan.  The photo itself is also really well done, both in composition and in the the lighting and tones of the shot.  It really enhances that yesteryear quality to the print.

P-51 Mustang Print

An excellent high contrast black and white print of the propeller and nose of a P-51 Mustang.  Built in North America, they first saw service in the British Royal Air force.  The aircraft was a single seat fighter from World War II.  Designed and built in just 117 days, this model was used in the fight against Germany and escorted bombers during fighting in the war.  It’s amazing the amount of detail and beauty in this plane considering the short span of time in design and the utterly utilitarian need for them during the war.

'57 GMC Truck

A classic model GMC Truck in detail.  Obviously lovingly restored with bright chrome and shiny turquoise paint.  This old beauty has probably been loved more in its second life than when it was a work horse in the middle of the 20th  century.  The sleek lines of automobiles from this period may not be aerodynamic like today’s cars and trucks, but there’s no questioning their style.  Classic cars in this era took their styling from the new jet age.  Everything was streamlined and ready to fly, even a pickup truck.  This crisp print really captures those curves and lines and the gloss of this vehicle well.

A really warm nostalgic shot of the classic taillights of a classic New York City icon, the yellow taxicab complete with the trademark Checkers!  This style of cab is as closely associated with NYC as the black cabs are with London.  They were produced through most of the 20th century.  Most who saw this shot would involuntarily think of the Big Apple and the sea of yellow taxis that dominate its streets.  This is truly an American and New York icon.
