Bender’s Restaurant has been in downtown Canton, Ohio, since 1902. It’s obvious that the simple but fun neon sign in this poster is comparably newer but still firmly in the 20th century when neon signs landed on the stage. If a restaurant has stayed in business over 100 years, it seems fair to believe this sign advertises the truth when it states so simply, “good food.” Here’s a sign to believe! This photo print features a selective color technique with just the neon lights left in color. This piece was done by photographer, Joanne Mariol.
