While movie theaters thrive today, one variety has only survived in random places across the country. Once upon a time, though, every decent sized town had at least one drive in move theater out on the edge of town somewhere, a place to bring the family, friends, or a date to see a movie on the big screen in the comfort of your car and under the night sky.
This theater appears to be near Frackville, PA. Check out those loely modern curves on this all metal marquee! Complete with neon lights and large bulbs, seeing this meant you had arrived! Even in its weather worn state, there’s an element of style to this old sign.
If anybody can, please provide some more details about where this is (was?) and when it operated.
