Store Front: The Disappearing Face of New York

A wonderful decade long project by a couple in NYC who have turned their attention to the signature store fronts of the city that are rapidly succumbing to new development.  Many of the places they have photographed have since vanished from the rich fabric of the city that never sleeps.  Featuring over 200 photos, the couple also speaks to the shop keepers and provide context and background enriching this very worthwhile book.  A wonderful time capsule and a great gift for fans of photography and documentary work.
