A veritable classic from the middle of the 20th century was Chevrolet’s Corvette, still a dream car of many who were not even alive when this classic was built. The Corvette was one of the stars of the cult classic TV Show, Route 66. Although the show was filmed in B&W, many people believed the Corvette in the show (which was replaced each year of the series) was red. In fact, it was more than one color over the years, but none was red. This great illustration showing a 1962 model really shows those classic lines well! We may not have had flying cars in the 20th century, but this is another example of a sports car that looks like it should have flown if you pressed the pedal far enough!
